Studio Porcelain was delighted to exhibit Laminam at the recent Arc Agency event, held at the iconic Doltone House at Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney.
Set along the harbour, the venue provided a stunning backdrop for an unforgettable evening, welcoming over 600 architects, designers, and industry professionals. The space was alive with energy—conversations flowing as guests moved between exhibits, discovering the latest materials, finishes, and innovations shaping the future of design across retail and commercial environments.
For Studio Porcelain, it was a pleasure to present Laminam within such a dynamic and inspiring setting. Events like these offer more than just a showcase—they create meaningful opportunities to engage with the design community. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting new faces, exchanging ideas, and reconnecting with many of our valued clients and collaborators. These interactions continue to inspire and inform the way we approach materiality and design.
The evening itself was a true celebration of the industry. With champagne flowing and a selection of beautifully curated canapés, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between sophistication and ease. It was a relaxed yet elevated environment that encouraged genuine connection—an ideal setting to explore new possibilities and discuss how innovative surfaces like Laminam can be integrated into upcoming projects.
Our display, crafted by the talented team at Casa Marble, was designed to highlight both the aesthetic and functional qualities of Laminam. The benchtop, finished in Laminam Patagonia, brought a bold yet refined presence, while the Travertino Bianco drawers introduced a soft, textural contrast. Together, the materials created a harmonious composition that demonstrated the versatility of Laminam in contemporary applications.
Beyond the visual impact, the installation sparked conversations around durability, sustainability, and the adaptability of porcelain surfaces across a wide range of design contexts. It was rewarding to see such strong engagement and curiosity from attendees, reinforcing the growing interest in high-performance, design-led materials.
